STATEMENT OF FAITH
Tabernacle of David, formerly known as Siloam Assembly of God, was pioneered by Pastor David Swan in October 1976. In the first decade of the church’s growth, eight other outreaches were planted and numerous full-time workers were raised up. In the year 1987 the church experienced a powerful Divine visitation after a season of sustained prayer. During this visitation, a new anointing and a new name was given to the church by the Lord. The new name "Tabernacle of David" spelled the new ministry and destiny of the church.

| VISITATION | ||
1987 was a special spiritual milestone in my walk with the Lord. It was a year filled with divine visitations and outpourings of the Holy Spirit both upon my life and upon the church members. There were also periods of intensive prayer and seeking the Lord. One night, I was awakened by a strong presence of God. Then I heard an audible voice speaking into my right ear, "Tabernacle of David! Tabernacle of David!" It was a voice of great clarity and unusual authority. When He spoke, the voice penetrated and reverberated within my whole being. For a moment, I dared not move. I felt the awesome presence of God. It was like a host of angels was in the room too. The whole atmosphere was charged with life. Still lying down, I turned my head to see this being that had spoken. But I did not see anyone. I knew that the Lord had given me the new name for the church. When the Lord gave me
this name for the church, I knew that it held the key to the ministry and destiny of the
church. The Bible speaks of God restoring the Tabernacle of David in the last days (Acts
15:16). I believe that this also refers to the restoration of Davidic worship. |
God’s vision for us is to teach, impart and restore Davidic worship to the body of Christ in this nation and also, in the nations of the world. In line with God’s vision, our desire and great passion is to raise up prophetic worshipping warriors. "Teaching, training
and equipping the body of Christ For this reason, God
has opened many doors for Pastor David Swan and Tabernacle of David’s prophetic
worship team to minister in conventions, both locally and overseas. Tabernacle of David
has hosted and will be hosting various events to impact, stir
up and challenge the bride of Christ to rise up in prayer, praise and worship, as
God’s great mighty end-time army! |
David Swan (Tan Suan Chew) is the founding pastor of Tabernacle of David, an apostolic and worshipping church which has planted several outreach churches. He has ministered in and hosted apostolic, prophetic and worship conventions nationally and abroad. He has pastored since 1976 and has authored six books, The Davidic Generation, Understanding the Spiritual Seasons of Life, Moving into the Holy of Holies, The Power of Prophetic Worship, Passion for the Glory and The Ministry of Kings. A few of his books have been translated into several languages. Apostle David is president of the International Fellowship of Worshipping Churches and principal of Tabernacle of David Prophetic Worship School. He was ordained as an apostle by the Apostolic Presbytery Team of Impact Network USA, presided by Apostle Dr John J. Eckhardt.
PROPHECY
BY APOSTLE JOHN ECKHARDT FOR DAVID SWAN ( The
Lord says, Son, I’ve put the revelation in your heart even concerning praise and
worship and I’ve given you even a revelation of My glory. And the Lord says, Son, I’m
going to cause the revelation that I’ve placed inside of your belly even to be
released into the four corners of the earth. And the Lord says you’ve been faithful
even to carry this revelation. You've been faithful even to preach this revelation in the
last years but the Lord says now get ready, for new doors are going to open to you in
different parts of the world and many shall call and many shall say come and teach us and
minister unto us and show us how to enter into the presence of God. And the Lord says,
Son, I’ve placed this revelation in your heart and I’ve shaped your life and I’ve
shaped your ministry. The Lord says, Son, I call you a man of revelation. There have been
many that I’ve given this revelation to but the Lord says they were not as faithful
to dispense it and to disperse it. But the Lord says, man, I’ve caused this to be
your first love. And the Lord says, now even as you go forth, I’m giving you even a
more apostolic thrust, even a more prophetic thrust, even to penetrate and to pioneer and
to break through into tough places, even places that have not known true worship, even for
generations, even those that have been bound by the spirits of religion and the spirits of
tradition and the spirits of idolatry, for the enemy has tried to keep worship out of the
nations. But the Lord says even as My word has gone forth that all nations shall see My
glory, and truly the glory of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
The Lord says, oh it shall come to pass even as faithful men rise up as stewards of the
mysteries that I’m releasing, even the mystery of worship and even the mystery of My
glory and even the mystery of the Holy of Holies and even the revelation and the mysteries
and the secrets that I’m revealing in this hour shall be preached and they shall be
taught in many different places across the globe says God. The Lord says, Man of God,
continue to write. The Lord says I’ve anointed you to write. Even as you write, your
books and even your tapes shall go into places where you’ll never go and you’ll
never see. But I’ll cause your books and your tapes to go into even remote places,
even into hidden places, even into secret places, they shall get the material and they
shall begin to read, they shall begin to study and they shall begin to embrace and they
shall begin to have a heart even to walk in that which they read in your book says God.
The Lord says continue, I’ll give you more books, I’ll give you even the ability
to disperse that revelation abroad. And
the Lord says in the days to come, I shall even draw worshippers together from the four
corners of the earth. And the Lord says they shall come and they shall worship and all
nations and tribes shall even worship together on the earth. Oh yes, it shall be seen in
heaven but the Lord says there are coming days when even different tribes, different
nations shall come together. For many men have tried to bring different groups together
but the Lord says, oh worship is going to cause their hearts to unite and they are going
to worship me and men shall begin to see even the nations working together. Even as in
this place, the Tamil and the Chinese in different groups shall even come together and
they shall worship together and this shall be a sign says God. It shall be a sign to the
world of My glory and many shall hear it and many shall see it and many shall fear and
many shall come and many shall fall down and many shall cry out saying, “What must I
do to be saved?” And many shall repent of their hurts and of their unbelief and of
their hardness of heart and of their hatred. And I shall begin to put My love in their
hearts. The Lord says, get ready, for in the days to come, there shall be international
conventions in different places that shall draw different cultures together but they shall
all worship and My glory shall descend and My glory shall be released and I am going to
prosper the works of your hands. And I’m going to cause the finances to come. And I’m
going to give you the ability to do what I’ve placed in your heart. The Lord says,
get ready man of God, finances and wealth and money is your portion because you’ve
been faithful. I’m going to put the wealth, the money, the finances in your hands and
that which you desire to do, you’ll have no lack but you’ll be able to do what I’ve
given you to do in the days to come says the Spirit of the living God. |

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be Divinely inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. That there is one God, eternally existent as: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. WE BELIEVE in the Deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through the sacrifice of His Blood, and His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. WE BELIEVE that for the salvation of the lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. WE BELIEVE in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit including signs and wonders, miracles, and spiritual gifts. WE BELIEVE in the five-fold ministry gifts of the Apostle, the Prophet, the Evangelist, the Pastor, and the Teacher. WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the dead including both the saved and the unsaved. The saved to the resurrection of life, and the final judgment between the righteous and unrighteous. WE BELIEVE in the great commission of the church to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. WE BELIEVE in a last days revival that will shake every nation with the
revival power of God and result in multitudes being swept into the Kingdom of God. |
